RTV Coated Glass Insulators are a key component in electrical systems, engineered to insulate and stabilize conductors in polluted and harsh operational environments. Made from high-performance toughened glass with a room-temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone coating, it features exceptional resistance to dust, industrial pollutants, and moisture absorption, maintaining strong dielectric strength even in heavily contaminated or high-humidity conditions.

01 Dual Manufacture Bases

Tailun adopts a dual‑base collaborative development pattern.

The Huzhou Headquarters covers a land area of 130 mu (83,609 square meters) with a building area of 74,800 square meters, undertaking R&D, forming & cementing production, quality inspection and comprehensive office functions.

The Anhui Base, with a site area of 34,600 square meters and building area of 14,700 square meters, serves as the large‑scale supporting production site.

Supported by the two bases, the company achieves an annual production capacity of 7.2 million pieces of toughened glass insulators, covering a full voltage range from 10 kV to 1100 kV. 02 Advanced Manufacturing

Backed by dual‑base manufacturing layout, Tailun manufactures high‑performance toughened glass insulator for global power‑grid projects. Our production workshop is equipped with world‑class imported facilities, including American Mettler‑Toledo batching‑weighing systems, Italian AMIGO thermal‑shock lines, glass pressing & toughening machines, and British glass melting furnaces. Combined with our self‑developed intelligent temperature‑controlled firing system, every toughened glass insulator gains optimized glass formula and uniform internal stress.

Advanced production processes make our insulator deliver 20% higher mechanical strength than industry standards, with self‑shatter rate controlled below 0.01%. Complete in‑house test apparatus supports full‑range performance verification for each insulator, covering mechanical failure load, thermal‑shock resistance, lightning impulse, zinc‑coating inspection and non‑destructive metal‑fitting detection. Every toughened glass insulator undergoes strict full‑item testing before delivery, ensuring stable long‑term service even in desert, plateau, coastal and other harsh working environments.

Full-process inspection from raw material to finished.

Quality control is implemented throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to finished product inspection.

The manufacturing and testing process can be aligned with applicable IEC, GB and project-specific technical requirements.

05 Packing & Delivery

Toughened glass insulators are packed in solid export‑grade plywood wooden cases. Each insulator is individually protected with shock‑absorbing cushioning materials inside the crate to avoid collision, scratch and glass breakage during sea‑land multimodal transportation. Wooden cases are suitable for long‑distance overseas shipment, container loading and rough site handling. Marking including product model, quantity, weight and shipping marks is clearly printed on case surface to facilitate receiving and on‑site inventory check.
